Nah not kidding, I've come straight out of a world where I knew every different type of tyre you would ever want to fit to a Fiat Seicento and the merits of each. And none cost more than £40.
But this is different. The Alfa is for performance, I don't want to skimp and at these prices I don't want to waste money either! Even the terrible Pirelli P6000s I have on at the moment are £~70 each, so price seems to have little bearing!
Just annoyed that the five that seem to be the most recommended aren't available in my size, that's all.

Good to know the Falken 912 aren't far behind the FK452, people say very good things about the 452
