Alfa GT New Discs and Pads Question
Just purchased an 06 GT and got the dealer to replace the front discs and pads. I have picked it up today, but was wondering how long I need to allow them to 'bed' in? I have drove the car for about 45 miles today and going VERY gently on the brakes, should they be ok now? Also should the pads sit flush to the discs as they currently have about a 3/4 mm gap on the one edge (hope I've explained that right) yet sit flush on the bake ones??? As you can see, I know bog all haha!! Also after driving for about 20 mins and stopping the discs were very hot to the touch, again is this normal? (I would assume so)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as it is clearly evident I know nothing and worried they may not be fitted correctly! Im assuming it is basic stuff to a garage!!
Thank you in advance!!
