Cruise control switch on clutch
I recently experienced the dreaded split-pin failure on the clutch pedal which caused the pedal to go straight to the floor and then when I took my foot off it, to bang back up. As a result (I think) the cruise control switch has been damaged - either the retracting pin has broken off or become jammed into the body and preventing the cruise control from working.
Anyone know how to remove and replace the switch, a quick look suggestes there is a ring around it but I couldn't get a grip to turn it, no time, do I need a special tool?
I suppose I could just saw it off but I'd still need to know how to replace it.
Thanks in advance
