Knackered lambda?

Anyone know if a lambda can be knackered even though it is within ok MOT limits? In Sweden we have 0.97-1.03 limits I believe. I got 1.01 on the recent MOT. Now my 156 runs a bit uneven and sluggish and I can't get Win 7 to play with FiatECUscan.

Would appriciate any input.

Yes and incorrect lamdbas can also throw up issues ie NTK instead of Bosch. NTK runs at 4 ohms not 8 and although it will pass the MOT, it will also show ecu errors and be closer to MOT tolerances probably.
