chipped jtd eats clutch! and flywheel

i had my 2.4jtd (150bhp) chip tuned with the millenium tuning kit about 3 months ago. Last week the clutch decided to go kaput. Just for good measure it took the flywheel with it. So i am waiting for the parts to be sourced by alfa, luckyly because i kicked up such a stink with the dealer(my starter motor blew aswel) regarding my broken car they have asked no questions, and are doing it under warrenty!
has there been any other tuned jtd owners that have had any grief? The car was running approx 200bhp and 3oolb on 17" alfa motosport wheels. The problem started as a vibation in 5th at about 1800-2200rpm(just as torque comes in)
the car has done 9k 4k with the chip and was registered in september last year(03 plate)

'07 GT Blackline JTD, but a 159TI 2.4 on its way very shortly!

Re: chipped jtd eats clutch! and flywheel

I can't say I am suprised, the drive train was just not designed for so much torque. You are lucky to get it on Warrenty, hope the service manager doesn't go on AO.
I suggest you turn the wick down a bit.....
