Help with CD Changer for 147

Hi All, I need some help and hope that you can provide it. Here is the story:
Last November I bought a 147 on a 53 plate and am pretty happy with it. Last week it passed its' MOT with flying colours. However, when I got the car there was a big gaping hole on the right hand side in the boot. I asked an indie, who stated that this was for a CD changer. There was a lead with a connector present. I was able to buy a changer on ebay and it works OK. But..... I cannot find any holes where to screw the holding brackets on. It is obvious that the changer needs to be installed in a vertical position but there are some wires underneath in the boot. Does the changer require other brackets than those supplied or is it fitted against the wing? The changer is a Blaupunkt CDC A08.
