GT - Nearly New Car Requires Bulkhead Welds
I would like people's opinion on how you would feel if a little creaking noise at the front of the car requires welding on the bulkhead. The creaking noise appear when going around corners or turning the steering wheel.
Car is a one a half years old and so under warranty. I never heard of a new car requiring welding and obviously concerned that this seems excess to repair a creaking noise. Does it imply the car was unsafe? The whole dashboard has been removed and the car is with a body shop.
Garage has been helpful, but I'm not convinced I'm getting all the facts. Not sure if they are just trying to get warranty work out of Alfa UK, or whether this is a big issue that was dangerous?
I have owned the car since new, so there is no collision damage.
