Exhaust Expert Question

Hello

I have recently bought an immaculate 147, the only downside for me, was that it had a stainless custom exhaust fitted, which is a bit loud for my liking (Draws to much attention).
Anyway I have had a quote of 90 to fit an additional silencer, but the guy does not know how much this will reduce the sound by. Have any of you guys done such a thing, and how much difference did it make?.

Thanks for your help..

It will make it quieter.
How much quieter is impossible to say.

Hello Alfa Red,
I have actually seen the Exhaust on the ramp, basically it goes Cat, then Centre Box, then Pipe all the way to exit pipe, no back box.
Does that help..

needs a back box then to start with. thats a backwards setup

if its still too noisey, then it will need a bigger centre box

i know why its been done, because decent back boxes are expensive.
