GT JTD 140Bhp

Hiya, I recently got my cambelt and water pump done on my GT JTD 2004 plate, but when It was In the garage they ordered the cambelt kit via the cars numberplate which came back as a 1.9 16v 150bhp but when he looked at the engine number cambelt kit It came back as a 1.9 16v 140bhp. I thought that all the GT's was 150bhp? The only thing I can think of is that it was one of the first to be made and they put the 140bhp in?

Could anybody shed some light on this as its confusing me lol.

Cheers Lewis.

There are two versions of the same engine... on the begining it was 140BHP model that was fitted to 147 and 156, and when they started to make the GT they increased the power to the 150BHP... Cambelt is the same for both versions.
