Brake Upgrade for 1998 156 2.5 v6
I have a 1998 Alfa 156 2.5 v6, and I would like to upgrade my brakes.
As I have been reading the forum for brake upgrades, I found that for front brake alternatives, there are 305 mm and 330 mm with 4 or 6 pot calipers, either brembos, ksport, xyz...but could not find alternatives for rear brakes.
I am aware that rear brakes have less effect in braking when compared to the fronts, however, I would like to replace my 251 mm one with the bigger GTAs rear 276 mm. For fronts, I have been thinking 305 mm Brembo GTs, or any other not so pricey alternatives that you guys might suggest..
So far, for £700-750 there are k-sports, and XYZ brand.
Brembo GTs are like £900ish..
So, what are your suggestions and/or ideas to upgrade the front and rear brakes of a 156 2.5.v6??
Thanks in advance for your time.
