Sorry to all of you that have already seen my other threads about this car. I thought I would start another thread with a better title now that I have decided the Veloce has to go one way or another.
I've finally had to admit to myself that there is no way I am going to get her fixed any time soon, so I've decided she has to go.
I am happy to sell her on to someone who wants to do the work or I will break for spares. The only real problem that I know of is the bottom end knocking.
I have a spare engine available separately.
So; to summarise I have a:
156 Veloce 2.0 TS
2001 on 51 plate
Small rear spoiler
16" Teledials and the rest of the Veloce kit
Condition is pretty good. There are the usual few small scratches etc and the drivers side sill skirt is coming away at it's top edge (panel tape losing it's grip).
Starts first time with no warning lights. Everything seems to work although as I can't drive her, I can't test everything.
The spare engine is out of a 02 plate 156 that had done 89000 miles. The car it came out of was accident damaged. I heard it running for a few minutes and it sounded fine but I obviously didn't get any service history with it. The guy I bought if from said it had a cambelt change at 70000. My intention was to give it a full service before putting it into my Veloce. I would at least replace the cambelt as a precaution.
I am looking for offers for the whole car or for the parts. I am happy to swap or part ex for almost anything (but not another car - I've got too many). I'm particularly looking for a Raleigh Chopper Mk1 in orange. My V6 needs a good service and my red / pink GTV could do with a respray, so I would even swap / p ex for someone to do one or both jobs.
I can also help out with delivery for the cost of diesel / trailer hire.

Sorry about the quality, it's a bit tight on space to get any decent shots.
No reasonable offer refused, but I'm not giving it away either
