under the front seats? Passenger seat isn't uncommon - move it back for cleaning or *whatever*
and then you go over a bump and the light comes on.
Just checking though - have you read the codes or are you just going off the light being on?
oo yeah and leave it half an hour (to be safe) after switch off before you jiggle em (although i've done the passenger seat one whilst driving, in a fit of anger and irritation once!!
I have read the same code (21 Curtain airbag squib (driver) value too high) as mentioned above.
This is the only fault present in the airbag ECU.
The curtain airbag is the one in the headlining, right?
and the connector is in the boot, above the trim and beneath the speakerboard (don't know the correct name in English).
I allready have disconnected the battery and then shorted - to + to discharge the capacator, then switched on the ignition to be sure all power was drained.
Next I disconnected the round connector behind the left trim of the boot, beneath the rear lights, it all looked normal and the connection looked firm. Then I disconnected the connector on the charge of the curtain airbag, also in the boot above the upper boot trim.
Then reconnected all and dubble checked it, then reconnected the - on the battery and resetted the airbag ECU.
After a while driving arround and hitting a bump, the light came back on..
so the questions are: where do I have to check the connections/connectors and better yet, how do I fix them (solder them together?)?
