mcfs and split turbo hose
A few months ago the dreaded warning light came on in my 156jtd.
Was still running ok so put off getting it checked for a while.
Eventually performance started to suffer and I took it to be checked. Diagnostic said faulty egr so I arranged for replacement. When egr was removed it had definitely had it and seemed warped inside so thought the replacement would solve all my probs. 10 mins later warning light came back on and I limped back to the garage where an airflow error was showing up.
Replaced map sensor and all was well for a few days then light on again. Garage is stumped but after a little home investigation I found a split in the top turbo pipe.
After taping this up the car feels much better but mcfs light still on.
While having these probs the car has developed an engine vibration when trying to accelerate in top at moyorway speeds.
Was wondering if any connection between the problems has been found by anyone else, and where to buy a new top hose.
