CF2 V6 Exh' Manifold, Last Cry For Help!

I am desperately trying to remove the rear exhaust manifold from my CF2 V6 engine as it has cracked. I am getting absolutely nowhere.

There is no write-up on eLearn, anywhere on the forums or elsewhere. The only thing written on this forum is what I have already done - that is removing the plenum and rear cam cover, all wiring is moved out of the way and I have also removed the rear engine mount and tilted the engine forward on a jack to try and gain more access to it. There is no way that is coming out.

There are two things that are stopping it as far as I can see. One is a pipe, which upon closer inspection, looks as if it runs from the thermostat housing down into the bulkhead area, so I am guessing that this could be a pipe leading to the heater matrix??? Secondly, there are the aircon pipes that run along the back of the bulkhead. These will not budge, and I am seriously considering unbolting them at the front of the car (see photo - not my engine by the way!). Even then, I am a little unsure if this is going to work.

Is there anything else I have missed, or can anyone give me any guidence or pointers on perhaps where I am going wrong as I desperately need to get this done.

Many Thanks,

I removed mine from my GTA. I destroyed the heat shields in the process.
Ur aircon must be degassed and those pipes removed.
There is a write up in elearn for the GTA's, use that it should help u out.

Yep, you have to disconnect the a/c pipes at the back. and tilt the engine forward. I also distroyed the heat shield when removing mine. The O2 sensor was also in the way. I coudn't unbolt it so it had to be cut.
