I'm tempted...afterall, as the seller says, what do a reputable motoring organisation know.........people are diagnosing snapped cambelts all the time and are wrong.............................

It's a big shame that some poor muppet out there will actually fall for this!

I wouldn't touch that with a bargepole. If anyone is tempted, make bloody sure you HPI it first. Financed to the hilt by someone who can't afford it would be my guess.

Oh come on guys - one of you must live on the dangerous side - you lot saying that you couldnt fix that minor imperfection with some p38. halford must have something to fix it with - and a knackered engine - gotta be worth a punt at 1500.00

Kinda of a shame really, it's a nice car with the relatively rare engine in a nice colour, just a shame its not obviously not been looked after. Its always telling when the seller can't be bothered to vacuum the car out before taking advertising pictures.. At 1500 assuming that it survived HP checks then MAYBE, but @ 6000 no way Jose!

Most of them were done when the car was just sitting around for 10 months while I made a decision what to do with it
He's having a laugh! Looks like he was trying to turn it into a Pug 206 like in the advert:
