How hard is it to change backplate on 156 sedan?
My 156 sedan were hit by a car from behind, so I've got to change the rear bumper, but I also noticed that the back plate (if that's what it's called) is slightly bent which prevents the tail gate from closing properly. It's just a bit off, so were thinking of simple knocking it back but noticed a new back plate didn't really cost much. So I'm considering getting a new one instead, question is, how hard is it to mount a new back plate? is it just screws or will I have to mess around with welding?
A bit off topic question, the previous owner informed me off a problem where the turn indicator sometimes doesn't work when it's raining. Any ideas what the problem is? Thinking I should try changing the relé and perhaps spray on some contact cleaner etc. Any other things I should check/try?
