here we go again
yes the pump ect can be checked with pressure gauges but you just said that if the car was running lean then it would mean the maf was faulty and thats not necessarily the case.
i really dont know why you felt the need to actually open your mouth, its people like you that are making the world how it is, full with people who just replace everything instead of trying to fix it , mechanics are no longer that they are just fitters, we are loosing all the skills we once had. its a very sad thing.
You are quite welcome to laugh when i come back on here and say my engine has died but i bet you it does not, you carry on spending your money on parts when there are cheaper alternatives and ill spend all my time laughing at you for your blind ignorance
your the one who came on asking about a problem and owners on here have had their input and i have criticesed your fix as being a bodge and i stand by it
it is false economy to do this fix of yours and if car has any more problems, feel free to notify accordingly..id rather fit new sensor in housing for circa £70 rather than over £150+ for it to be wrapped in a bit of plastic tube
yes i do agree their are mechanics out their that are just fitters, ive seen AFM,TPS,ICV and yes it cost owners fortune and still not fixed problem of distributor(nissan eccs)and they wanted to replace ecu
typical of main dealer at that time!
i just hope you if you ever sell the car i hope you put the corrrect part in and remove the "modified
"maf ,so if fault codes are read i would nt like to diagnose all those errors that can affect the bosch management ecu
that will show up with your mod
im sure that a majority of owners who know alfa's or run cars with bosch management for that matter, wouldnt use your fix
i hope that any other owners on here will criticise or agree with me on this subject
