Front fog light protectors.

In the few weeks I have owned my 156 I have broken 2 front foglights and have noticed today that I have a bloody great chip in yet another!! Does any one know if you can get clear foglight protectors to give them a fighting chance!!
A few years ago I put some clear ( and barely noticable) covers on the large fogs on an Impreza to stop their regular replacement and would be nice to do the same. Its not the cost as I managed to get some cheap used fogs from Feebay, its just the hassle.

Prob will get better when the bloody council around here puts all the loose bits of rock back into the potholes!!! I have not seen the cat since he fell into one outside my house!!

I've used Lamin-X on headlights and fogs, it's a film that protects lights and comes in clear or a variety of tints. I used the lightest tint for the "GTA" look. Time will tell if it's effective! motorsport headlight, fog lamp, spot light protection tinting films bulbs for race cars, motorcycles

I have similar clear film applied to the foggies on my 159 for the same purpose - to prevent chips. I haven't bothered covering the other lights, even though there were pre-cuts for them.

Just get Lamin-X but get the clear one. You need them to put out as much light as they can. No point blocking light with tint.
