Pre JTDm models have a different boot badge just saying JTD - mines a 2006 and says JTDm but I'm pretty sure the badge reverted to JTD at some point later.
Indeed. Mine's a very late (06) and has nothing other than 'GT' on the back.
Unless it has JTDm on the back, I don't think there's anything visual to give it away. The engine in the JTD is (I believe) designated CF3 and the JTDm is CF4, however one cannot tell the difference by casually looking at them. The CF3/CF4 have different codes for the inlet manifold, I know as I'm looking at replacing mine owing to a probable swirl valve fault, however visually I have no idea what the difference is.
All the best
Loose - not close, compact, or tight in structure or arrangement
Lose - to part with or come to be without, as through theft, accident, negligence, etc.
