Thanks for the info.
When I bought the car last sunday from the garage, I got a new cambelt kit fitted by them (I presume that the variator and waterpump is in the kit?). The car is on 84,000 miles. I also have a 3 month warranty.
Does this mean that the variator has not been replaced (if it's part of the kit)?
If it has not been replaced (Sounds like it has not) does this reduce the lifetime of the cambelt kit ?
Do i get the garage to sort this out, where i bought it from ?
The suspension is making a sort of clonking noise over bumps, so what is the best way to check if it is the wishbones, anti roll bar or drop links and will this cost me a lot to sort out ?
So u suggest i contact this bloke first - http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/members/alfa+tuner.html
before going down replacing the battery route as i do think the bat does need replacing anyway ?
Sorry for my ignorance and limited knowledge, but what are the fault codes and where do i obtain them ?
Because the car is under warranty for 3 months and i have only had it less than a week, any tips in making sure things are sorted via this route, so it costs me as little as poss like...
