156 rear caliper piston seal required.
Bought the missus a 2001 156 veloce for valentines day and one of the rear pads was down to metal aso changed the rear discs and pads.
Anyway pretty easy job and went with any probs really but I've tried bleeding a couple of times and it kept going spongy.
Anyway had another look today IN THE DAYLIGHT and noriced the caliper piston was leaking.
Took the caliper off again and its the piston seal has a bit cut out of it allowing the fluid to leak, I must have nicked it when putting the piston back in on the bench.
Anyway I saw a post of here for company that sells the caliper kits and they are only £20 but to be honest the dust covers stc are all fine so was wondering where I can get just the piston seal as i dont want to pay £20 for a small rubber seal. Plus if I get the kit I will need to do the others since I have them and thats more work for me.
So anyone know where i can get just a piston seal (alfa dealer perhaps) or if I find another seal same size from elsewhere and putr it in.
Any help greatly appreciated as shes had it since valentines day and only been able to drive it round the block so far and is mad to get driving it.
Thanks in advance.
PS I'm in coventry by the way
