Hi All,

I am interested in doing the v6 mod to my 156 twinspark. By this i mean replacing the standard induction pipe with the v6 pipe as can be seen on the link below
Gazza82's Alfa 156 2-litre Twinspark

However, I want to know what filter will be best K&N or BMC. Both have good reputations with k&n being more popular amongst street tuners compared to BMC.

What are your thoughts?

Probably won't make much difference whether you use K&N or BMC.

I have a K&N for many years and it is money well spent ! I have the V6 mod on my 156 sele, runs like a dream for many years already.. I left the venturi in (the trumpet) there are guys who claim that removing is better, not so with mine
Cleaning the flter once every 2 years and oil it sparsely...
