I'll second that. Two turbo failures within 130.000 are either extreme bad luck or poor replacement quality (parts and/or labor). Was the replacement turbo a new unit or a reconditioned one?
I've got a 2.4 20v with a strange, loud-ish whistle, but everything else seems to be fine on the turbo side. Of course, main dealer advised me 2000 km ago that the turbo "is about to fail" and "it should be replaced as soon as possible" - obviously, while paying a 50% premium on the parts' cost just for the privilege of buying it from a main dealer. Not sure about the 1.9, but I believe the turbo is also supplied by Garrett.
