Battery drain, ammeter reading ok what next?
Hi Guys this is my first post so be gentle.
I have 147 JTD which has started developing a key-off battery drain.
I have fitted a new battery. A garage has told me the alternator is charging and an auto electrician has told me that the key off drain is within acceptable tolerances (I think he said 20 miliamps). But it is still going flat. So what do I do next?
Is this something diagnostics could find? Is it likely to be an intermittent fault, if so how do I find it?
By the way the stereo is the original factory fitted one.
Any help would be appreciated!
