Squeaking Suspension (rear) on 147
Hello fellow Alfa owners.
I have recently purchased and Alfa 147 1.6 lusso. On the road test I failed to notice an intermittent squeak coming from the rear left of the car. I thought at first it was a wobbly exhaust mount, but now Iím beginning to think it is something to do with the suspension as it doesnít squeak all the time. It tends to do it when the back is loaded down, like when driving up a hill. Once it starts it continues to squeak for a while then stops as quickly as it starts. It doesnít tend to make the noise on straight un-bumpy roads. Iíve read on some posts on hear that something on the suspension needs greasing with copper grease. Has anyone experienced this and ultimately solved the problem?
Also at the rear left and maybe/maybe not linked to the noise is a worn tyre. The wear is even across the tyre and is far more worn than the other 3 tyres.
Let me know your thoughts guys and id appreciate any input.
