After a lot of hassle i finally managed to get some NGK plugs for a reasonable price, and after even more hassle fitting them after the mess the previous owner made installing the old ones, I am dissapointed to say that although I'm up on power she is still missing intermittantly.
Seems worse when the engine is cold and i seem to be down on torque at low revs.
I also get the classic MASF warning light whenever it drops to 3 cylinders, but if i accelerate really (and i mean sunday driver when i say this) slowly she will run smoothly, until i hit a reasonable hill and the engine is under a more considerable load again.
When i changed the plugs there was a large amount of oil in and around the coil pack, so i guess this would be the next place to look?
Is there anyone in the West Cornwall area who has alfa diag on a laptop that could help me out as i only have a desk top and live on the 1st floor of my building!
