It will cost about £80 for some oil and shells plus a couple of hours labour.

Certainly a lot cheaper than taking the engine out stripping it and getting the crank re-ground.

This happened to our lasses 147 (a cat c I repaired for her) over a year ago. Oil pressure warning came up on way to MOT, mentioned it to tester he had a look and said I was lucky, put 3.5-4lt in. Only drove it about 3 miles after warning, but it's never missed a beat apart from battery
