147 JTD: remap, Q2 and clutch on 74000 miler?
I've got a 147 JTD 16V that seems in good nick about from the clutch feels like it's going to die any second (no slipping, just heavy and horrible notchy pedal action). I like the idea of a medium-strength remap, but should I get the clutch done first? I could get the remap done first and get a few more miles out of the clutch, but it will probably choose to go at an inconvenient moment. If I get the clutch done, is it worth getting a Q2 fitted at the same time? Or is trying to improve performance on a 7 year old 74000 mile car a waste of money (I like the car and don't want to decrease its life)? Can anyone recommend someone who can do all three jobs in one hit?
