v6 gearbox problem

I am having a bit of trouble removing my gearbox, the engine is out of the car so no clearance issues but i have removed all of the bolts and the box is about an inch clear of the engine but is still connected through the clutch or something and i don't know how to release it any help please?

Just give it a tug,it is the clutch release bearing that is locked on the cover and still connected ti the fork.
Have you removed the clutch slave cylinder,as this will be stopping the arm from going back.
