v6 thermostat

Can anyone tell me how to change the thermostat on a 2.5 v6. I am not great at mechanics but if this is quite straight forward i will have a go myself.

What year is it? The methodology differs slightly depending on if its a cf2 or a cf3.

Mito 1.4 turbo

i changed mine yesterday, much warmer now!
its very easy to do.
remove the rubber air intake pipe, remove water pipe from stat to rad, undo the 2 bolts holding the bracket on the side of the thermostat, undo 3 bolts on the thermostat, & its off. give the surface of the stat housing a clean, & use a small amount of instant gasket on the new gasket . refitting is reverse of removal
easy peasy!
