Replacing Rev Counter Bulb?

After having a problem with a permanently on sidelight, I decided to get a second hand one off eBay.

Arrived today and fortunately it has solved the problem!!!! (Even though one picture is different to the old rev counter, but this is made better by the cleaner text for the rev's!)

Anyway, the Rev Counter does not light up when the lights are on. I have the old Rev Counter which I know worked, do I just replace the faulty LED that is in the socket by the clear prism thing?

Many thanks.

p.s. Is it worth making a note about the faulty bulb in the feedback on eBay?

Thanks again.

Yes just pull the bulbs from the "old" one and replace in the "new" one - from having to replace some in mine I think that you access the bulbs by removing a cover from the back of the rev counter.

They are small bulbs not LEDs

Yes, I have the cover off my old counter, unfortunately I broke a tab off it. Hopefully I can avoid doing it on the replacement.
