Right here i go hope i come across understanding (woman)
...the problem with my 156 twin sparkis that i can only drive maybe 2-3 miles before it completely overheats. The interiour heating system is blowin out cold air..and the temp gauge goes almost within 10mins to red...
I previously had a problem last month with a hose being badly damaged do to wear and tear, which left me with losing water by the bucket loads out of the water tank. Me stupidly just kept filling the water tank up and heading off to my destination. I eventually put the car in to get fixed with a new hose.
I thought by replacing the hose it would rectify the heating problems, but it just got worse with the car overheating now too.
I would be very grateful if someone out there could try and explain to me what they think it may be, as i dont want to get ripped off with the specialist and be out a fortune, as i already had a 147 and it cost me an arm and a leg, in the end, the car just wasn't to be!!
So please your help would be appreciated as i love my 156
and this is the first problem i have had with it since i bought it 2 years ago (used). and do not want to part with it
