Bulb warning light (again!)
Seems to be a common problem, but not seen a thread with the exact symptoms that mine has?
Since I've got the car, the bulb warning light has been on on the dash.
It is ON all the time the ignition is turned on, regardless of whether the sidelights / headlights / brake lights etc are on.
When I got the car, both front fogs were smashed and the bulbs obviously smashed too, so initially thought it would be this. Both front fogs replaced, and still the warning light is on.
Then noticed that one of the sidelight bulbs was blown, so replaced both sidelight bulbs and the warning light is still on.
Been around the car and all external lights are working (including number plate lights).
Live in the middle of nowhere (no street lights or other light sources) so went outside last night after a bit of reading up on here, to check whether any lamps were faintly when everything was off, but not even a glimmer from anything.
So would I be right in thinking the next steps are to first check the earths around the rear lights, then the rev counter for blown IC's?
