156 2.4 JTD Cold Starting Problem
I have recently bought my first Alfa, which is a 156 Sportwagon 2.4 JTD on a 51 plate.
It has recently developed a problem where it does not like to start.
I have checked the glow plugs and there is power getting to them and through them, i changed the plugs at the same time. There is fuel getting through the system.
The car started yesterday with a little squirt of easy start, i know this is not ideal but had to try and get it started somehow!!
After the engine was warm it had no trouble starting for the rest of the day.
Then this morning again it would not start, but after a little squirt of easy start she has been starting fine...
I am guessing it maybe something to do with the air/fuel mix when cold or been sitting for a while???
If anyone could help me out with any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
