full story.. NEED FAST HELP!
Please help me since I dont know what to do... I've done a 1.8 cf2 to 2.0 cf1 swap, in a alfa romeo 156. the 2.0 came from 146 year 96. Ive changed the cam sensor, the pulley.. put on my injection and so on... But as my mechanic said.. ive put on the 1.8 CRANEshaft sensor... So yesterday my car did start, but its wasnt working really well, as if ~2 cilinders where working rattling and rpm jumping, and there was the red injection light on the dash...when we gave 5k rpm, it was o.k rather smooth , a little bit of smoke ,the light was still on.. but today it doesnt start at all, and when it does.. it turns off after about 1-2seconds... i was about to say that the cam belt is set up wrong, but he insisted that its the craneshaft sensor from my 1.8 that is doing the thing ,and that ECU got a ERROR code, and wount let the car start... and that i need to buy 2.0 sensor, and 2.0 ecu...
Help me up please, because im really low on budget , and dont really know what to do.. dont want to buy a 2.0 ecu and sensor, and get the same **** :S
