Help Key Code

Hey gents,My car sometimes refuses to start because of the word code that appears on the ignition,tried taking the battery terminal out for 1 hour... and guide to fit new clutch kit

Around the ignition barrel is a plastic ring that acts as an aerial for the key transponder. Follow its wire back to the ECU above the glovebox, and check that the plug is in correctly.

As for the clutch. I don't have a guide, but I know it's a fairly major operation for the V6. You need to remove the gearbox off, which means removing the front suspension from the gearbox-side, the subframe, driveshafts (you might be able to get away with just splitting the inner CV joints), and anything else you need to gain access to any of this.

There's also something about the slave cylinder... I think you have to remove it before splitting the box from the engine....or something!

Ive recently read on these forums that relays may need cleaning under the bonnet.Perhaps check old threads.
