Me again! Selespeed gears!
My poor Alfa, after 9 months of no grief it seems ever since the clutch sensor change, the cars gone from bad to worse.
Anyway, yesterday after sitting in traffic into central London for about two hours, the selespeed system goes crazy. Jumping around all the gears, before finally deciding that it's going to stay in either second or first, whilst telling me the whole time it's in reverse or fifth, or fourth, but mainly reverse (and boy does that bleeping get annoying)
This continued until I managed to hit the A30, and after crawling along at 50 in seconds for about 5 minutes the car seemed to fix its self. It realised it was actually going forwards and not backwards, the system showed the right gear and everything since has been fantastic.
I've driven it a lot today, and no problems what so ever. I'm assuming it's battery related? I did stop off in Halfords, Guildford on the way back from London and the guy there put on his battery testing device and said the battery was exactly how it should be.
Any ideas? Suggestions? Sell it? Welcomed.
Many thanks in advance again,
