Hmmm Interior footwell carpets, rising n bumpy..

Anyone seen this before, the interior carpets on alfa 156 jtd have started rising in areas, by 1.00 - 2.00cm in places. Its been in the garage for a mechanical repair, wots new.. anyways got it back and noticed when cleaning it that carpets are all bumpy. This is a spurious one even for an alfa, so all input greatly received, thanks

I think that means they placed a jack/blocks of wood under the floor. A few hard stomps should get it flat again, or some judicious work with a club hammer - but there is the risk that the underseal will crack and lead to rust in the floor.
