My starting ritual:
Open the door
listening to the pump (there it is, everything fine so far)
getting comfortable in fine black leather seats, in the meantime counting to ten, then pump stops.
meanwhile the key is in, now starting up the computer (ignition on), reads "checking", during which i buckle up
the lightshow dimms, now starting up the engine (enjoing the sound)
now i wait till the "OK" comes up, then we are ready to go....
Once upon a time i had a Toyota Prius, which didn't like it, when i did something before the Computer signaled "Ready", so there you, old habits....
To be on topic again: My pump needs exactly 9 seconds after a longer standstill and it does not prime when i open the door again a couple of minutes later (longer than 5, its start for only a few seconds).
Has the dashlights dimming something to do with a battrey getting poor?
