Orange warning light
My first post....I have a Alfa 156(2002 model) that has a very strange problem with the lights.
The orange warning light came on when I had a problem with the OSR brake light. I changed the bulb, but the warning light stayed on. Upon looking at the OSR indicator it had a faint glow to it, so I changed that also. The warning light went out when my headlights were on but was still illuminated when off. I think the indicator light still had a faint glow.
I didn't use the car for two days and then discovered a flat battery. The AA man came out, as someone had my jump leads, recharged the battery, spent a lot of time looking at the lights and mumbling 'bizarre'!
I now have the orange warning light still illuminated and a OSR and NSF light that isn't working
He believed it may be the lighting control system. Does this sound correct?
Apologies for the long rambling post, any help gratefully appreciated.
