GT dash mounted tomtom I-90

TomTom have produced and will release in Dec 2009 a dash integrated satnav unit, it fits in a 2 din dash mount. My question is will this unit fit a 2009 GT dash (is it 2 din size) and will the blue and me phone still work as the original radio/cd unit will come out and I would imagine the cupholder will go as well. Any info or feed back would be welcome. I posted this on general discussion but only one reply Cheers GeoGT

It's a double DIN so takes up a lot of space.

Have you not seen the Blaupunkt sat nav head units that are single DIN - the current model is the Rome Nav56E but the previous model seems just the same, the rome nav55e and they come up on ebay quite regularly - I got mine for 135 - the full price on the new one is 450ish

GeoGT, I have now ConnectNav+ in my GT, but I heard for that Tomtom I-90 unit too. Also waiting for more specifications about it when the unit will be released. I am shure it will fit 2 Din place in GT, because it is 2 Din unit.
No fear about old phone system, the unit will have bluetooth-phone connection with connection to car's speakers; that's perfect!
It's also a nice move to disconnect the unit screen and use the part of it seperately if I did understand right.
If you will find any other infos about that unit, please let us know here.
