147 purchase

Ive coverted my wife and she has agreed to a 147 as her next car, (her saxo is dying).The 1.6 is plenty for her and would like to know what to look out for when buying.thanks guys

timing belt should be changed 36000 miles or 3 years what ever comes first, noisy inlet variator sounds like a diesel what you start it, front inner edge of tyres the 147 does seem to knock the edge off the front tyres, make sure suspension bushes are good rear trailing arms and front top wishbones are the more suspect parts apart from that enjoy and welcome

preferably with a FSH (that can be traced) and as usual, cam belt/variator, etc. Make sure the electrics are sound as well.
