That's like saying Q-System is the same as Selespeed.

Tiptronic is a traditional automatic (i.e. it has a torque converter) with manual override buttons on the wheel. PDK is a twin clutch automated manual, not a slushbox. Totally different and in no way related.

IMO I wouldn't buy a Sele used. Mine has 212,000km on it with no dramas, however I've maintained it properly. There is no guarantee of this on the used market, unless you know the history of the car first hand.

I've been through 2 Selespeed Systems, one at around 12k the other at 18k. Since then its been fine until the pump failed to prime. Still riding this rollercoaster!

But I'd buy another one if the wife would let me;-)
