EGR valve (again)
Having had lots of problems with my 1.9JTDM which cumulated in a complete loss of power I've blanked on the EGR at the inlet manifold. The difference in performance is great ( no turbo lag, boost from 1200rpm), tho fuel consumption seems to have increased....early days tho. I'm just wondering if there are any long term consequences to be paid for doing this, other than constant 'Go To Dealer' when starting. Should I have blanked it off further down ie at the exhaust. Can MCSF be erradicated with a software change?
