Headlight adjustment stuck

Hi all,

I replaced the bulb in one of my headlights, now when i try to adjust the angle from the button the left one adjusts but the right one will not, i can here the motor every time i switch the lights on, tring to move it but it wont, any suggestions?

confirm by viewing the mechanics as you try adjusting

I had the same problem andmy 147 failed the MOT as a result.

Get the back cover of the headlamp off and remove thebulb - you'll see a plastic arm (grey) that effectively pushes the bulb forwards and back for adjustment. That arm is attached to a motor which will have broken and be the cause of the problem. If you have small hands you shuold be able to get in the back and unscrew and remove this - replace with one from a scrap yard Autolusso had one for me and cost me about 20 or so. I managed to do the job in total in an hour and I'm a complete novice..!!
