'm getting serious problems with my car jerking forward and uneven throttle when the engine is warm, when the temp goes up to half way. When i put my foot down on the accelerator the rev's will rise but the car remains still, then as the rev's come crashing down, the car jerks forward, it came up with Selespeed System Failure after one of these incidents the other day. I'm hoping its not the actuator as its only causing problems when in traffic for a long time and hot. There's no problems at all with gear selecting or anything else.
I went to alfa yesterday, they did an end of line calibration and re-set the gear settings etc, it drove better today but i still noticed the problem when sitting in traffic for a long time today, all be it not as bad.
Could it be the clutch maybe? I've had it suggested that it could be the RPM sensor not giving the selespeed the right info. Any ideas peeps? I'd really appreciate any inmput as it' bloody embarasing when I'm stuttering along violently in traffic.
