GTV is a nice vehicle. I had a red 6 sp V6 with the tan leather sitting on 17". Very quick, you do feel more involved with the driving as aside from the late facelifts they were devoid of most of the electronic gizmos to hide poor ability. Engine note was great, real sense of urgency when pressed, tone was higher that my GT. The propper V6 is also a thing of beauty to look at - really shows that the design flair continues throughout. I had no issues with build quality or reliability - gave me four years of thoroughly reliable and great motoring. I see some posts about doors, rattles - really, doors felt solid, closed with a good sound, no rattles. A two person car though, even kids are cramped in the back seat. To carry anything in the boot you really need to remove the spare. That was thing that pushed me to replace it with a GT in the end - can seat four comfortably, and a large boot. You will feel more cocconed in the GT than the wagon that is for sure.
