turn the Key in ignition...no response?

Id turn the key in the ignition and silence! This began with myself turning the key in the ignition a second time for it to start. Now it is more complicated as it is taking more attempts.

I got roadside assistance - Battery was fine, starter was fine, selespeed was fine.

I am told to play with the gears before turning the ignition key. The car started beautifully.

I observed that after i turn off my alfa (on gear 1), the engine turns off first. Then, my alfa flashes the number 3 and follows suit.

I am told it is an ECU problem.

Can anyone comment on this?

Have you tried taking out the relays in front of the battery under the black cover? I had a similar problem a few months ago and it was oxidation (****e) on the relays. Does the pump run normally when you open the drivers door? Mine did not run long enough or not at all, when I had taken out the relays and cleaned them and replaced them all was back to normal.
In the manual it says to keep your foot on the brake after switching off the engine until the gear indicator light switches off .
