That's a perfect examination on the vid there and yep, it's screwed, that piston should not twist like that, you probably already guessed that, but the noise it would have made must have been like a tin of bolts rolling down a hill.
Your going to have to pull the crank, no doubt about it, that #4 shell will be like tin foil when you pull it out (please post a pic when you do) so the crank will have to be swapped, that means that it would be far easier to remove then engine and gearbox (through the top, just split the drive shafts at the cv joints), to remove the crank the gearbox, clutch, flywheel, oil pump , main journal caps and pistons will have to be removed, Also looking at the movement on that #4 piston you may need a new rod, piston and set of rings as that one looks like it's been slapping too (evident when out as the piston will be silver on the front and back, also it looks like it's had a belt snap before as there appears to be the half moon tell tale marks poking out from the inlet valve clearances, but that confuses me because I can clearly see the 'only ever fitted at factory' cambelt white teflon tensioner (correct me if that's a metal one please but my screen makes it look plastic).
