I've just got a reminder half an hour ago.. left the car park and the bulb from the fuel gauge wasn`t working, thought it was broke, but half a mile down the road, it regained "life"

I wonder if its the colder damp weather? I had a MCSF on my 156 the other day but now it's drier it's gone away? Although the date problem could be battery related?
